It never occurred to me that I would be sitting here drooling over gloves, but here we are. This is the incomparable armwear (is that a thing?) by designer Jeanne Hermans under the fashion label known as C’Est Jeanne. Her current collection includes an entire line of gloves inspired by the House of Dior, and they re every bit as delish as you’d expect.
After working at several ateliers known for their high-end embroidery (including the Dutch National Opera’s costume department, Hermans decided to strike out on her own, and I, for one, am very glad she did. The Dior Collection was designed to be displayed (and sold) in the museum shop of the Kunstmuseum Den Haag in the Netherlands. Each pair of the gloves above take 200 hours to create.
You can see more of Jeanne Hermans’s amazing work on the C’Est Jeanne website and on Instagram.

I especially love the ones with the dangling crystals. My goal in life is to be a human cat toy.
