I feel like this artist was sent to me by someone, but I can’t for the life of me recall who. If it was you, please speak up so I can thank you properly.
These are the wonderful, textural, lush-looking fiber artworks by Deborah Collum. Hailing from rural Warwickshire, Collum has plenty of bucolic scenery around her from which to pull inspiration. All her work feels sweet and familiar and very comforting. Though her art incorporates many subjects, I love her landscapes the best. They’re so tactile looking, I just want to get my hands on them.
You can follow Deborah Collum on her website and on Instagram and Facebook.

If you described them to me, I’m sure I’d think ‘yuck.’ But in fact, they’re just adorable!

The pieces do look gloriously tactile. She clearly has a keen eye for curating colour palettes that evoke specific landscapes and seasons and skill at creating a diverse array of visual textures.

Some of them reminded me of Scotland, so they reminded me a bit of you!

Indeed, the hues and textures are definitely very familiar.
