When I come across something about which I’d like to post, I usually just give the draft a temporary name of the artist or organization, then include whatever caught my eye so I have a starting-off point when I’m ready to write. This draft post’s only comment was “holy sh1t!!!” This is the drool-worthy, delicious, extravagant gold and diamond jewelry by designer Savannah Friedkin, and my comment effectively-if-not-elegantly summed up how I feel about her work.

I think it’s all magnificent, but I am particularly attracted to her Broken collection, which features hammer-set diamonds in precious metals, but the pieces appear to be shattered in places. I’ve never seen anything like them, and I just want to cover myself in them.
