Standup comedian and former zookeeper Hayden Kristal is the not-always-proud owner and operator of Carcass Acres, a farm whose main product seems to be humor. Their animals all have fantastic names including Chicken Elizabeth Nugget, Squidward, Debbi From Accounting, and Donkey Devito. She refers to her animals as crimebags and fat-hoofed raccoons, but though they makes a LOT of jokes at the animals’ expense (they don’t seem to mind), Kristal is a true animal lover. They are also a disability rights activist, both for animals and for humans. Kristal is mostly deaf herself and has fostered and adopted multiple disabled animals as well.

Kristal has been featured on HBO and appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2022. I just love their standup comedy, but it’s the animal videos that have me hooked. I don’t want to think about how much time I have spent gorging myself on their social media…
