November Ultra popped up on my Instagram feed because I was looking for classic jazz covers. I was just doing that search because I enjoy the music so much, but when this young Parisienne singer popped up, down a happy rabbit hole I went. And once I started to explore her music and discovered her originals, I was even more glad the search delivered her to me. Nova, who goes by the stage name of November Ultra, writes and sings beautiful, contemplative songs which perfectly suit her soft, melodic voice.

Originally the frontwoman for the band Agua Roja, Ultra broke out in 2020 with her first solo single, Soft & Tender. The single went viral, giving her the boost she needed to strike out on her own, a move which has proven popular with her 1,000,000-plus subscribers.
