I thought today would be a good day for some spooky art by Inge Schuster. The Copenhagen native was a well-known-and-respected photographer, but when she began experimenting with AI (which is in my opinion up there with the scariest things in the world today), her work really took off. All Schuster’s current works are at least partially created using AI which she says gives her the opportunity to make images she would never otherwise have been able to photograph.
I think the reason her work resonates with me is that while it is AI assisted, it still retains a sense of nostalgia which I find quite lovely. The artist describes her work with AI as a collaboration, an idea that’s much less intimidating than some of the uses that have been found for the technology.
You can follow Inge Schuster on her website and on Instagram and Facebook.
