What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Swiss Organization

Swiss comedian and artist Ursus Wherlie has maybe the most Swiss outlook on art I’ve ever seen. He takes a mix of everyday items and other artists’ works and “tidies them up,” organizing them in unexpected and very funny ways. His Ted Talk, below, is awkward but very definitely amusing. I love his outlook. I am especially entertained by the pieces in his “Tidying Up Art” project. His organizational efforts are dedicated to showing “how great art can be sensibly organized, neatly arranged, and presented in a space-saving way.” Very clever stuff.

Wehrli claims to make order out of chaos, but what makes it funny is that he’s imposing order where no order is needed.

You can follow the interesting Ursus Wehrli on his website and on Instagram.

This was fun. I follow a blogger from Switzerland, and she knows firsthand that the Swiss take their tidying up very seriously!
