What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Chapel of Love

Behold non-denominational Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, AR. I don’t remember seeing anything this glorious when we passed through the Ozarks a few years ago, although we did find an inexplicable preponderance of leaping dolphin-adorned souvenirs.

Rated number 4 on the American Institute of Architecture’s top 10 buildings of the 20th century, this stunning chapel was designed by E. Fay Jones, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. Its open-air feel, use of local materials, and strong sense of orderly geometry strongly hints of FLW’s influence, and to great effect.

I really need to see this place in person. They hold services there, and it’s available for events. Can you imagine how gorgeous a setting this would be for a wedding?
