Maybe it’s because it’s spring, but I’ve been on a real street art kick lately.
Today, I stumbled across the murals and paintings of Tristan Eaton. From his iconic “Audrey of Mulberry” to his deliciously creepy “Dreamland Mickey,” the man is a total original. The things he does with spray paint are remarkable, but I’m most struck by the fact that in his paintings, each subject has mismatched eyes. It bothers me, like a persistent itch, but I keep coming back to them. Fascinating.

Dreamland Mickey is creepy. But then again last night my dream included crocodiles and tiny babies.
