I read a lot of online book reviews, both professionally written and reader composed. I have come across some real howlers, but these graphics take the cake. Hope you enjoy these hilariously bad book synopses crafted by Daniel Kibbelsmith and Isaac Fitzgerald of Buzzfeed Books.
They describe them as being “Like SparkNotes, but wrong.” Here are a few of my faves, but you can see the the entire brilliant set on Buzzfeed.

I think “Of Mice and Men” was my fave, but I loved the ludicrousness of “Lord of the Flies,” too!

‘Like SparkNotes but wrong.’ How perfect is that?! The Scarlet Letter is my favorite. I don’t know how you find all this stuff, but I love it!

I’m glad you were entertained! I’ll never tell where I find them (because I generally can’t remember)

Hilarious! Thank you for helping me start my day on a high note. Never read the twilight books but that one made me laugh aloud.
