We attended a fantastic wedding last night in Philly. As a result, we have a slight case of (s)wine flu. So today, here’s something guaranteed to make us all feel better, even the teetotalers and other responsible adults.

Puppies!

Pet photographer Shaina Fishman created one of the cutest photo projects ever. “Between Two Dogs” explores first-time interactions between pairs of dogs of the same breed, with painfully cute results. Some react to their new companion with curiosity, some with affection, and some with shyness. As with most dogs, their emotions are all instantly recognizable and relatable (and very, very cute).

“Almost all of the dogs were eager to be together and play but some wanted nothing to do with their co-star, which was just fine because I didn’t set out to capture only cute imagery. My goal was to create memorable images full of varied emotions and interactions. Those few independent pups broadened the emotional range of the book and added to its sense of humor.” -Shaina Fishman
