Model: Emiko Mori. Photographer/Designer: Chinami Mori
One of my first posts ever was about a grandfather who adorably modeled his granddaughter’s clothes. Today, we’re looking at his female counterpart. This is 93-year-old Emiko Mori, who has been modeling her granddaughter, Chinami Mori‘s beautiful clothes. The designer’s style is called Saori, the Japanese art of freestyle weaving that focuses on self-expression. The photos have been blowing up on Instagram, and I’m totally jealous.
Look how happy she is! I have decided that when I’m in my nineties, I’m going to start modeling. Hear that, offspring? Someone needs to produce a fashion designer in the next (cough, cough) years.
All photos of Emiko Mori. Designs and photography by Chinami Mori.
