GeschmeideUnterTeck
Yes, those are cows inside my ring. Why do you ask? Behold the wonderful, fresh, appealing jewelry of maker Isabell Kiefhaber. She takes simple figures performing familiar actions and embeds them in her pieces, making us feel like we’re spying on another, much smaller world.
Her charming pieces, which I think would be just as suitable for a child as for an adult, are available in her Etsy shop, GeschmeideUnterTeck, which I assume is German for “I’ll take one of each.” Okay, it actually translates to “Jewels below Teck”, but I was close. Teck is the castle which can be seen through the artist’s window as she works. It’s certainly clear from whence comes some of her inspiration!
And if you have an idea for a design you don’t see, Ms. Kiefhaber is even willing to do custom work!

There is some brilliant work here. Not only is the person working in miniature, but also trying to capture a moment and trying to tell a story. Fantastic stuff.

I am obsessed. The only thing stopping me from buying one is that I am unable to choose!
