My Fourth of July 2016 Fire Island Drag Invasion photos are up on Flickr! This year, we went as Snow White and the Seven Hipsters, and we had an absolute blast. It was almost a shock to see people looking so happy to see us this year. As much as we loved doing darker-themed costumes like our Sons of Anarchy parody (Sons of Menopause), it was a real treat to be greeted with such happy enthusiasm by the people we passed. We even won “Most Cherry Grove,” which may not sound like much, but it made our year!

I hope you enjoy the photos. This way to the fabulousness!

Too wonderful! I love the two waitresses (with whisk earrings?!)..the higher the hair, the closer to God. Amen. 😀

Love the photos: so much fun by the look of it. Not a sad face there. And such wonderful colors …

Fantastic photos. So much fun. Is it bad that I thought the piece of facial wiggery on the bottom of the photo was a merkin?

Amazing as always. I particularly loved the one of the person lighting a cigarette. It had a sort of back-stage quality that made me want to look at it over and over again

It looks like a fabulous festival, and oh those violet pink eyelashes! How could you keep your eyes open!?
