What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Anything But Straight Lines

Straight Line Designs

These are the whimsical, magical furniture designs of Vancouver artist Judson Beaumont. His company, Straight Line Designs, produces furniture with more personality-per-square-inch than Kristin Chenoweth*, if you can imagine.

*I am powerless to resist that video. I will never stop sharing it whenever possible, so don’t bother pointing out that I’ve linked to it before. I am gleefully unrepentant.

With a distinctly cartoonish sensibility (in the very best way), his designs are a great fit for both the public and private installation projects for which he’s been hired.

Many, many thanks to reader Ann Harmer for finding this amazing designer!

  1. These are all so amazing. I can imagine these pieces never failing to make a person smile when they enter a room. I want to adopt one of those little seated chests of drawers. So sweet.
