According to science, coloring books are a great way to de-stress. While some of my readers may differ from me (and each other) on the subjects of politics and religion and art, I think we can all agree that less stress = good. So today, I’m taking a look at the best coloring books I could find on Etsy.
And if coloring flowers and birds and mandalas isn’t going to do it for you, there are a few more adult-themed coloring books below as well.
By the way, I’m always delighted with reader suggestions, so if I’m leaving off a coloring book you love, please post it in the comments for us all to enjoy.
Happy coloring!

What a great selection. As a fan of Jaws and sharks, I’m especially drawn to that one. As you know, art is what I do to decompress and feel more “me” so I totally understand the lure of adult colouring books. I’m not a fan of colouring in myself, but I get the appeal and certainly endorse the stress busting qualities of doing anything creative whether it’s art or music or cooking.

Exactly! It’s like a creative outlet that even non-visually-creative people can enjoy!

Some of these are fantastic! My sister gave me an adult coloring book for Christmas last year. My boyfriend looked hopefully puzzled until I explained that it wasn’t *that* kind of adult. It has nice flower pictures. ( :

HAHAHA! You can get *those* kinds of books, too, but I decided to leave them off. Too awkward.

I loved this one. Ordered a bunch along with some sets of colored pencils and gave them to people at work last week. Just because. Made my day.
