What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

5/26/14: WeMontage sells personalized photo murals on removable wallpaper. What an absolutely wizard idea! I don’t mind doing the work of measuring and planning (and measuring again) when doing a gallery wall. In fact, it’s one of my favorite things. However, I know most people don’t have the patience or the time (or the eye). And not only is this easier, it’s infinitely cheaper than framing each individual picture. Their standard sizes are remarkably reasonably priced, and they will even do custom sizes for $10/square foot.Image

And of course, you’re not limited to using family photos. I’m not suggesting you violate copyright laws, but you could certainly pull together a collection of images, patterns, scanned fabrics, etc. to make anything you wanted. The decor possibilities are endless!

It would also make a spectacular gift for a big day, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, and I can see it bringing a lot of joy to seniors who are moving out of their homes into retirement communities, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes. A way to take their memories with them (without a lot of clutter).

Interesting..I’m thinking of all of those photos stuck back no one ever looks at.

Exactly! I have so many vintage family photos I’d love to do something with. I also think this stuff is good for bathroom walls. It would be an interesting wall treatment in place of wallpaper. Would also make an interesting refrigerator front, rather than our collection of family photos that are constantly falling off and curling at the edges.
