Today, in preparation for my upcoming trip to Turkey, we are looking at the Turkish ceramics artist Zeliha Gür. Her brand, Ceramico by Zelis, offers some of the most appealing pieces I’ve ever seen. They manage to feel both whimsical and ethnic at the same time, like updated folk art. They’re so bright and cheerful, I feel like waking up to these pieces in my kitchen would automatically brighten my day!
I looked at the shop’s location on a map, and I’m very disappointed to report that my cruise ship won’t be going anywhere near Gür’s shop. What a bummer! At least I won’t have to pay for overweight bags going home…
