What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Love & Italian Leather

Zanni Italian Shoes

During our recent time in Rome, we had a thoroughly-delightful tour guide named Luka. We got to chatting, and it turns out Luka’s family business (in addition to the recent tourist gig) is hand-made luxury Italian leather shoes. The company is headed up by his sister, Barbara Zanni. Luka sent me their website, and I tucked it away, planning to check on it later. When I finally got around to opening the website, I was blown away. You know I’m not super into menswear, but these shoes left me gobsmacked. They’re just gorgeous!

Zanni Shoes are very stylish, very colorful, and very, very Italian. The company makes their items to measure. I can’t imagine how comfortable they must be! In addition to their men’s shoes, they also make similar styles for women. They even have clothing lines coming up. This is a label to watch!

“L’unico modo per fare un ottimo lavoro è amare quello che fai.”
(Translation: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.”)

– Steve Jobs, presumably in English, though it sounds better in Italian.

You can check out all of Zanni Italian Shoes’s glorious offerings on their website and on Instagram and Facebook. And if you find yourself in Rome, I highly recommend you book Luka for a golf cart tour of the city on Viator!

Those are all lovely. I really like the pair with tassels. My 18 year old would Gollum over the purple pair.
