I was raised in a strict Catholic household, and attended 12 years of Catholic school. When I was a child, religion was just part of the fabric of my life. As I got older, I found myself questioning more and more, and eventually, I concluded that religion just wasn’t for me. I would call myself more agnostic than atheist, but either way, religion definitely isn’t my thing.

I like this blog to be as inclusive as possible. Therefore, with the exception of classical, I don’t usually post about religious music. However, I do still carry the happy memories of my childhood, many which are tinged with Christian music, especially at Christmas time. So when I came across Christian singer/songwriter Seth Carpenter, I thought it was a good opportunity to make an exception. Carpenter writes and records music that makes me feel so peaceful, I knew I just had to share.
