While in Rome last year, I was fortunate enough to catch some of the magnificent, modern-yet-organic fine jewelry by Annamaria Cammilli. The Florence-based brand was started in 1983, and has remained true to its graceful, unexpected aesthetics over the decades. Somehow, their signature waves edged by diamonds are still as edgy and fashionable as they were 40 years ago.
The designer works with colors of gold I didn’t even know existed, including Black Lava, a medium pewter color, Chocolate Brown, a beautiful soft taupe, Sunrise Gold, a soft yellow gold, Natural Beige, which looks just like you’d think, and Orange Apricot, which is a kind of warmer pink gold color. My absolute favorite of their pieces is the Ring Velaa, which is an ombre graduation from black lava to natural beige to white ice gold with a single small diamond. I feel like if I were wearing that, I’d just be crashing into things because I couldn’t look away.

You can check out all of Annamaria Cammilli’s beautiful jewels on their website and on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

I absolutely agree. I’ve been saving for something else for myself, but this very nearly derailed that effort…

The design of these pieces is beautiful. I love the use of those organic wave forms. I had not heard of many of those shades of gold either and now I am very intrigued. I clicked the link to see your favourite ring and wowzer. It really is a stunner.

I’m always in love with anything ombre, and all those delish colors of gold make for such a gorgeous, subtle color graduation.
