What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Simon Bailly

French illustrator Simon Bailly creates truly memorable pop art images. Many of them are retro in feel, but with a sci-fi twist. He’s got a fantastic sense of humor which he manages to communicate without ever saying (or writing) a word. In fact, when he was studying illustration, he became hyper-aware of the importance of storytelling in his work. Bailly’s visual storytelling style has made him an editorial image favorite among some of the most prestigious publications in the world including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and The New Yorker. He’s even done advertising work for my favorite label, Hermès!

You can see all of Simon Bailly’s fantastic art on his website and on Instagram, and you can buy his prints on Kiblind.

These are all quite imaginative! The first piece I saw on his Insta is one of the portrait of Mona Lisa eating soup and it made my day!
