The Georgia-based duo known as The Band Loula describe their sound as swampgrass for the soul. Comprised of lifelong besties Logan Simmons and Malachi Mills, the pair write gorgeous lyrics, and their harmonies are a pure pleasure. Their sound is somewhere between traditional and modern country, and I’m loving it!

Mills and Simmons first made a splash on YouTube a few years ago when Malachi posted their country cover of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean, and it’s amazing. At the time, Simmons was working as a photographer and had never performed in public outside of church, but there was no denying there was something special there. The band was formed shortly thereafter.
