365 Days of Beautiful Things!!!

I did it! I managed at least one post every single day for an entire year. Don’t worry. I’m not going to quit anytime soon, but I wanted to stop for a moment and acknowledge that I’ve accomplished something real. I am thrilled to join the ranks of the committed artists who created something every day. Like Pascal Campion, Lorraine Loots, and Greg McLeod, I can now say I did IT. Okay, their daily works are prettier, but still. . .

Today’s post is a thank you to all of you, because it would have been much more difficult to post every day into a vacuum. Because without your likes and your favorites and your comments, it would have been much more like talking to myself. And who celebrates talking to themselves for a whole year?

So I raise my glass* to the beautiful things I have yet to discover, and I thank you all for holding me accountable. For giving me something to live up to. For being My People.

*Later. I will raise my glass later. I’m not drinking yet. It’s 8AM!

    It’s always happy hour if you choose the right time zone! Congratulations! This was a big undertaking, and I don’t know that I could stick to anything daily for a solid year. Well done! 🙂

    I’ve only discovered you recently but I support your idea and execution most warmly. If more people did this, we wouldn’t be able to complain that people just complain all the time. 🙂 And no matter how much I claim that I’m doing it for myself, creating in a vacuum does suck.     Well done, Barbara. I look for your OBT and am happy to find it, because your OBT can often by OBT that finds me where I am at that moment or unexpectedly brings me to your OBT.
