Today, we’re looking at the retro-fabulous animation by artist Robbie Shilstone, and I honestly can’t get enough. They’re so stylish, I was to watch them over and over again. While he keeps the details spare and the color palettes fairly simple, there’s enormous life and energy in his work. He does these jazzy little character shorts he calls “what’s [their] name” and I want to know every one of those people.

I’m not the only one a bit obsessed with Shilstone’s work. He’s made artful animations for mega companies including Apple, MoMA, and Disney, and he’s taken high prizes at a dozen film festivals around the world.
