Today, I want to bring you a brilliant young dancer who is amazingly facile at the street dance style known as gliding. I wasn’t able to find out anything about the dancer except that his stage name is Bruk Up Smoke and his real name is Vladimir Pomeshikov. Smoke is based in Moscow I found a tutorial on YouTube that purports to explain how gliding is done, and it all seems to be about creating an illusion that your weight is on the opposite foot, but I couldn’t get it. I guess I’ll just have to enjoy watching Bruk Up Smoke do his thing instead.

I kind of feel like Michael Jackson was the true pioneer of this style, and certainly nobody does it better, but this kid is truly remarkable.
