Today, we’re looking at an unusual sale by an absolute icon to benefit a truly worthy cause. One of my lifetime idols, Sir Elton John, has decided to sell some things he wasn’t using, including costumes, luxury-brand clothing, concert memorabilia, jewelry, housewares, and a truly random selection of other items. The sale also includes fashion from the musician and his friends such as Dolly Parton, Donatella Versace, Brandi Carlile, Andy Cohen, and Betsey Johnson. All these items – and there are more than a thousand of them – are being sold on eBay, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Originally intended to run for only 10 days from June 27 through July 7, 2024, Sir Elton has continued listing items, so the inventory for the sales and auctions continues.
