Adorable singer/songwriter Amelia Day grew up in the Pacific Northwest, but it was the years she spent in Nashville as a young adult that really informed her musical style. Her storytelling reminds me of early nineties Mary Chapin Carpenter, and her lyrics exhibit a self-awareness I’d expect from a much older artist. I think you’re really going to enjoy Day’s music!

Good call on her sounding a bit like Mary Chapin Carpenter. I like her voice a lot and her videos are creative.

I’m so glad to find her! I used to have MCC on repeat in the nineties. Miss that!

Not my cup of tea, but I’m sure she will be successful with her clear sound and especially her lyrics.
