Thanda Choir

The South African choral group known as Thanda Choir is knocking my socks off today! The group mainly sings in a language called IsiXosa, the South African language known for its use of clicking. Thanda Choir’s music feels so uplifting, it’s completely turned my day around. Their positive energy is absolutely infectious. What a beautiful group of people!

The choir was started by two young besties, Lufefe Radebe and Luke Bernhardi. Their aim was to share their music while also bettering the lives of both those who join the choir and those who enjoy listening to their music.

“We believe in the future of… the Thanda family. Despite statistics of “success” in the township, we will not stop investing in the youth of this community. Our dream is to join hands with those who see the potential of this generation as much as we do, creating opportunity for not only this generation, but those to come. We are relentless in our dedication to seeing our communities prosper, and Thanda Choir will be pioneers of a changed trajectory.”

You can follow the lovely Thanda Choir on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
