Persephone’s Hearth

I have always wanted to learn embroidery, but just never got around to it. But the folks at Persephone’s Hearth are giving me the courage to try the art form! They sell all kinds of cottagecore art, witchy decor, oddball art prints, and D.I.Y. craft kits, but it’s their embroidery kits that I find especially drawn to. I spotted this beginner spiral sampler kit on a friend’s social media feed, and I was immediately intrigued.

Mind you, I have zero free time right now, but maybe that’s why this undertaking seems so tempting. The idea of sitting still and focusing on something so precise and satisfying makes me feel a little peace. And boy, could I use some of that right now!

You can follow Persephone’s Hearth on their website and on Instagram and Facebook.

The designs are lovely. A kit is a great way to get into a new hobby or to even just get over the hump of creative block and grease the cogs a bit. I hope you find some restful time soon.
