San Diego-based empowerment coach Evin Rose says that the Inner Child Theater Camp for Adults has been brewing inside of her for years. As a theater kid herself, Rose found herself singing away in her car to show tunes every chance she could get. So she decided to lean in to her amateur theatrical roots and start offering weekend-long retreats for former theater kids, aspiring singers, and lovers of musical theater. No talent or experience required! The weekends include learning and performing a show, exploring authentic self expression without shame, and a real old-timey camp experience with ice breaker games and group activities meant to forge new friendships. I think it sounds marvelous!
As soon as I saw this, I immediately sent it to high school bestie. Hoping we can get to one of these weekends next year. Also hoping to see some of you there!

That is such a fantastic idea, so much so that I think it should be extended to other kinds of activities that would help people rediscover, release and nurture their inner child.
