Last May, I posted about the viral music video for STORM by GENER8ION featuring extraordinary, memorable choreography by Damien Jalet. For some reason, last weekend, a number of… homages? parodies? copycats? popped up. I guess when I liked the first one, the rest came out of hiding. My favorite is first, but the rest all have something to recommend them (and they’re short). And this rabbit hole was way too good to keep to myself…
The first two are cute, the rest are just interesting. Fun trend, though!

I could only find my two faves (from Golden Coloado’s Rise Dance Co and Cape Town, South Africa’s Laerskool Vredekloof Primary) on Instagram, so if they don’t load, I strongly suggest you click over to Insta to play them. They’re truly adorable.
And finally, if you missed it, here’s the live performance of the song and choreography at the 2026 VMAs. Just wild that this can happen in person. It’s positively hypnotic.
