Javier Perez sees things you and I don’t see.

 

We see a cherry with a stem; he sees an escaping balloon.  We see an Oreo; he sees a pirate’s eye patch.  The man combines ordinary objects with simple line drawings and creates magic.  He plays with his food (with office supplies, with small change, with wilted flowers), but while when we do that, we make a mess, he makes art.
