Gray is the new blonde, luckily.
I categorically refuse to act my age. Okay, yes, I keep it together enough to maintain a job and a house and a marriage, but I draw the line at culture and personal style. And I’m always on the lookout for others of my ilk.
In March, in the post Never, Ever Act Your Age, I wrote about Grandma Betty, a ninety-something-year-old who recently discovered (and immediately ruled) social media.
This time, I want to show you the completely addictive fashion blog, Advanced Style, by photographer and style spotter, Ari Seth Cohen. He wanders the streets of New York, photographing the stylish and eclectic get-ups of a crowd that’s largely ignored by the fashion world.
“My eyes have always been drawn to older people,” says Cohen. “And from a style point of view, I find them more interesting because they are of an age where they don’t have to impress anyone and can wear what they want.” (The New York Times)
You can follow the talented Ari Seth Cohen on his blog.
