You can’t quit the song forever until you’ve heard this young lady belt it out. Meet the adorable and excessively talented Carrie Hope Fletcher. Best known for playing Éponine in the West End production of Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre in London. As a child, Carrie also played young Éponine, which makes her the only actress to play both the child and adult parts!
At 22, she’s got some seriously powerful pipes (and her hair is fairly formidable, too). If you enjoy the song below, there’s a whole playlist of her covers on her YouTube channel, all which are eminently listenable. Hope you enjoy her!

I think I am the only person who missed the whole “Frozen” thing. My students often mention it, but don’t ever recall hearing about it in the theatre…. I guess life must have been busy then.
I did like the video, however, and your comment about her “formidable” hair is awesome. It truly is formidable.

Dear god 😳
My ear nubs have been damaged temporarily. My younger siblings repeat this song over and over and over again. I hear it Constantly! From hearing it, I had watched the film with them and whilst it was a good kiddy watch I cannot help my feeling towards the song. Great pipes indeed but a small part of my life has been tormented. I’d rather not find myself humming it at work 😩 And yes, I know all the words!
