Every one of my dreams for as long as I can remember includes a penguin. Sometimes it makes a cameo appearance by waddling through a particularly realistic scene (where it doesn’t belong). Sometimes, there’s a picture of a penguin on a wall, or a penguin woven into someone’s sweater, or a commercial on the TV featuring a penguin, but that’s often how I know I’m dreaming. I told my beloved about this phenomenon years ago, so now when we spot a penguin on something, she jokes, “Are you dreaming?”
So when I saw this video, I had to pinch myself. Am I awake?
Did it make you feel feels? Me, too! If you enjoyed the story of Sam and Monty and Mabel (that’s her name, isn’t it perfect?), you can continue the story here.

I just spent 30 minutes in the world of Sam, Monty, and Mabel. You really need a pair of Monty’s goggles so you can merge your dream and wake worlds.

I used to think that, but I’ve given up trying to figure out what goes on in my head. I’m probably happier not knowing.
