These thoroughly loveable creatures are called Brain’s Fairies. They are the creation of designer and maker Samantha Bryan, who is inspired by the inventions and gadgets of the Victorian era. She uses natural and found materials to make her personable fairies, and they get to do the one thing she wanted to pursue but couldn’t – fly.

She spends a lot of time thinking about what her fairies need in their daily lives. She has even provided them with flight safety measures like the headlamp at right and, for emergencies, the Blimpulance. I think they need their own stop-motion feature. Who wants to start crowdfunding?
