Reminiscent of the beautiful wood-and-cast-aluminum furniture by Hilla Shamia I wrote about in August, designer Marcel Dunger has developed a process of bonding broken pieces of wood with colored bio-resins. Once hardened, the bonded pieces are shaved down into jewelry. The results are really striking, but because of his soft color choices and natural material, they also manage to feel peaceful. As with the Fruit Bijoux jewelry collection I wrote about in May, I find his beautiful color palette irresistible. The collection is called Manufract, and the pieces can be purchased here.

I see Euros when I click on a category, and when I click on individual pieces. For example, the lovely Lana is showing me “€ 129 – € 149 incl. VAT. Excl. Shipping costs.” So not cheap.
