(Sorry. I know it’s late. I was out having fun.) I told you this morning how excited I was to be going to the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, and I’m happy to report that the show did not disappoint.
Tonight (it’s 3 AM, so I guess I should say this morning), I’m posting about the DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) Dining by Design exhibition, then tomorrow, when I’ve sorted out my notes (and finished uploading my pictures), I’ll write about the exhibitors and all the nifty stuff we saw.
I will say that we were not quite as blown away by this year’s DIFFA dining exhibit entries as we were with last year’s. Maybe it’s the layout (this year they were in a separate pier, which space was fairly stark), maybe it’s this year’s trends, or maybe it was just that my feet hurt (a lot). However, there were still a good number we truly loved. Here’s our top faves. The rest of my pictures can be seen in my Flickr album.

It’s totally worthwhile. You should plan a trip around it next year! The 2016 dates are March 19-20.

Those pictures are beautiful. I particularly loved the Marilyn Monroe one. I look forward to seeing your next post.

The Marilyn Monroe one was so luxe in person. I know my picture didn’t do it justice, but it was just gorgeous!

Thank you, doll! It was one of my favorite days of the year. I’m just bummed that today, I’m working from home and doing laundry instead of wandering around going “ooh” and “aah.” Maybe I’ll walk around my house later and treat it like a design show.

Yes I understand how annoying that must be. You can oooh at the gorgeous fresh smell of your laundry, and aaah at the ironed, and folded clothes! 🙂

. . . and treat myself to a glass of wine when I’m done exfoliating and coloring my hair.

Gorgeousness! Stace Garcia and Hermes were my favorites, but they’re all lovely. I wish I could have gone.
