What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

peepsIt’s Easter Sunday, so I decided it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate my deep and abiding love for . . . Peeps! That’s right. I’m not too fancy to admit that those gross, processed, machine-made marshmallow abominations are one of my favorite things on the planet.

What’s more Easter-like than sushi? I know! It’s sushi made of Peeps!

Here’s an instructional video on making a rainbow Peeps-covered layer cake:

  1. haha! I have always wondered what would happen if the Pillsbury dough boy and a Peep got together–squishy kids, I guess. Peeps in Vodka–what a great idea!!

  2. We don’t have Peeps. I don’t know whether to feel relieved or deprived.

  5. A friend of mine is a notorious prankster, and one year for April Fool’s he invaded one of his friends’ houses (well, the woman’s husband loaned them a spare key because he wanted to see what the dude would do — past misdeeds included shrink-wrapping her car and turning everything in her office upside-down). He scattered Peeps all over her house, holding little signs with sayings like “Eat People, Not Peeps!” and “Peeps are People too!”
