The Four Seasons

Garret Kane

Today, I want to look at the emotional, beautiful work by up-and-coming, Brooklyn-based, assemblage sculpture artist Garret Kane. This is his series of four sculptures called Seasons. He mixes natural elements with 3D printed pieces, and his compositions are lyric and elegant and eminently memorable. Though I couldn’t find out much about the artist, his website told me everything I really needed to know.

“From the concept to the materials and techniques used, almost all his sculptures embody the idea that human beings were made by nature and through technology we attempt to recreate nature in our own image.” -About Garret Kane

I look forward to seeing more fascinating work from this talented artist!
