Today, I’m thrilled to bring you gorgeous sweets and treats by professional pastry chef and self-styled sugar alchemist Lisa LaConfiseuse. Her Etsy shop, PamplemousseSucre, is full of “Darkly fabulous artisan sweets with a French twist.”

LaConfiseuse spent a decade and a half as Pastry Sous-Chef at some of the most well-respected and iconic restaurants in Manhattan and at resorts around the country. But then, like so many of the other truly gifted artists I profile, she got restless.

“After 15 years… I found myself feeling stifled and decided to strike out on my own. Giving my French culinary training a twist, the result is my shop here on Etsy. Having paid my dues (and then some!) in the trenches of NYC pastry kitchens; I hope my treats reflect my experience by being deliciously high quality and more than a touch fabulous!”

Mission accomplished! These stunning designs and fantastically creative flavor combinations would make really inspired gifts and memorable wedding favors. And with mouthwatering flavor combinations like Blackberry Lavender Earl Grey (!) and Butter Rum Salted Fig (!!!) and Pineapple Pomegranate Prosecco (swoon!), you should really treat yourself, too. You’re worth it!
