In spite of her striking resemblance to Jack Palance, Moravia resident Agnes Kasparkov’s talents lie elsewhere. The nonagenarian former farm worker picked up a new hobby when she retired. She began decorating the houses in her village with cobalt blue paintings featuring traditional Moravian motifs. Her neighbors were at first perplexed, but eventually came to appreciate and even celebrate Agnes’s beautiful, meticulous paintings on their outer walls.
