Our little house demon (A.K.A. cat) Goosie is a bit of a scamp, but I can’t really complain. She’s not terribly destructive, but she has her moments. I thought I’d protect my good glass ornaments by keeping them at the top of the tree and hanging a few non-breakables at the bottom. We try to avoid plastic when we can, so I thought felted ornaments might be a good solution. What I found alternately charmed and horrified me. Lucky you!

There’s no mediocrity in this selection of felted decorations: they are either very well done or utterly terrible. The framed cat is well done in terms of the actual crafting execution but is pretty horrifying in its concept. Plump Smog Cloud Buddha also gives me the heebie jeebies. My favourite item in this episode is the mouse holding the reindeer. That’s pretty endearing.
Plump Smog Cloud Buddha is pure genius (the name not the item, which should be torn limb from awful limb, thoroughly burned, and the ashes thrown to the wildest wind we can find.)
