23-Year-old social media sensations Alvin and Kelvin, A.K.A. the Mantey Twins, were born and raised in Ghana, then moved to the U.S. as teenagers. They also have two older brothers WHO ARE ALSO IDENTICAL TWINS. Their poor mother. The twins are beautiful dancers and appear to be beautiful people as well. They’re very handsome, but it made me really happy that as I scrolled through their pictures and posts, for every serious, fashion-type photo they post, there are at least three of them giggling and cracking each other up. They seem like very well adjusted young men!
I have certainly posted about dancers that were better trained and more highly-skilled, but none that made me feel more instantly happy. These two seem to have a great attitude, and it’s contagious!
“We began dancing in high school and haven’t looked back since. We created our TikTok account in 2020 at the encouragement of friends and loved ones, and have amassed quite the followership on our platforms… We are lovers of dance, music, and fashion, and being identical twins, we easily capture attention online. We’ve dressed the same every day since birth (blame our parents), and we’ve managed to create a brand about our identity as twins in a world where we feel most encourage twins to seek their own identity apart from one given to them at birth. Make no mistake — we are different; Alvin is in medical school to pursue psychiatry and Kelvin is an engineer and a developer. We have managed to achieve what we have so far while schooling and working full time… We’ve been told that we are vibrant, funny, and that we carry positive vibes and energy in all we do.” – Mantey Twins Interview With CanvasRebel

The fact they are twins adds to the visual fun of the synchronized choreography but you are correct that it is the warmth and charm that they convey that is particularly winning.

They seriously never seem to break a sweat, but who cares? Those smiles are enough!

I haven’t come across these two young men before, but I’m quite addicted to the dancers appearing in ‘Shorts’ on Youtube. They are all wonderful!
