Les Fo’Plafonds

Making music accompanied by only instruments made from recycled materials, the Paris-based group calling themselves Les Fo’Plafonds still manage to rock hard! I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed watching people play garbage more. They’re amazingly innovative in their use of materials, while also being great musicians. I want to hang out with these people. Their battle cry is “Everything is music,” and they certainly prove their point!

You can follow Les Fo’Plafonds on their website and on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

They are a very talented and creative bunch and I enjoyed seeing how much fun they were having together. I once heard an (I think) Austrian orchestra whose instruments were vegetables. Now I am thinking about it, how would I know what they were playing since it was an audio medium? But I truly believe they were using carrots as clarinets. (I must go and google now in case I hallucinated all of that).
