Not much to say today. 9/11 always seems to knock the wind out of me. Every year, the grief gets a little softer, but the memories are still just as sharp and inconceivable as they were the day they happened. Today, I’m thinking about all those who were lost and those who were left. Wishing us all better days.

If you’d like to learn more about 9/11, I recommend you go check out the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s website. It’s full of fascinating information and videos you won’t see anywhere else. You can also follow the museum on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

Much love,

Donna

In case you want more, here are some of my previous 9/11-related posts.

  • The Tree That Would Not Be Broken – A story about the Survivor Tree, often referred to as the last living thing to leave the World Trade Center Site alive after 9/11
  • Acts of Humanity – The story of Gander, Newfoundland, where many planes were redirected, and a small town opened their arms and their homes to the planes’ passengers and crews
  • It Never Gets Easier – A small collection of beautiful, sweet, painful stories told by those who lost family members
  • All Hands On Deck – A 9/11 story you’ve probably never heard
