3/14/16: There’s a lot of overlap between beautiful and bizarre, between stylish and clownish, between haute and hilarious. Tel Aviv hat designer Maor Zabar Hats seems to dwell mostly in that grey area. But as silly as some of his designs are, they are beautifully executed and wonderfully joyful. Unless I was in costume, I can’t really see myself wearing one of them in public, but I certainly applaud their entertainment value. They’re also putting me in mind of spring, which I am very, very ready for!

Of course, I’m posting the kookiest ones, but Zabar offers some comparatively sane-looking ones as well.
