Singer Mara Justine has been making a name for herself since the age of 11, but though she’s been around for 12 years, I confess I’m a new fan. This young powerhouse packs a lot of soul into a small package. This incredible, determined artist made it to the top 12 on Season 900 of American Idol (at the age of 11) and placed 3rd in Season 24 of The Voice, no small feat.

Justine’s covers are really interesting. She doesn’t reimagine the songs she sings, but she definitely puts her Mara Justine mark on them. It’s no wonder she is performing to sold-out shows in her home state of New Jersey. She’s also hoping to tour on a bigger scale very soon. I expect to see much more of this rising star.
