Nicola Kuperas combines fashion, classic cars, supine models, and her hometown of Detroit to compose these surprisingly elegant, atmospheric, Hitchcock-like images. Rendolent of film noir crime scene photos, her works all seem to hint at violence just past, inspiring us to fill in the rest of the story. I especially love that these images don’t include the models’ faces. That simple device seems to increase the images’ mystery and intrigue. FeatureShoot.com put it best;

They make me want to go out and buy a retro suit and pumps and lay down someplace. They’re really beautiful images, and there’s just enough funny about them that I want them on my walls. On the other hand, they might be a little hard to explain to houseguests. . .
